Color #2: Green
Green is my 2nd favorite color. It would probably be my favorite color instead of
black,
but green just doesn't have the same universal usage like the color black does. Green is one of my favorites due to my eye color being green, so I
can match things such as sunglasses or other smaller accessories. I also like it due to it being all around us in the trees, grass, and plants.
In a world where we live surrounded by buildings and plain neutral colors, green is always somewhere there to help take us back to
the peaceful setting of nature and helps us relax. Green is a cool color. It is the color of life, nature, energy, balance, and environment. It is also associated with money and greed in terms of finance.
Green is said to be the most relaxing color for the human eye to see. In cultures such as Ireland, green is associated with good luck such as leprechauns
and clovers. Different shades of green give each different meanings. Dark green shows greed, light green shows jealousy or sickness, and olive green is
usually a sign of peace.
